With ArmGlide, the premier at-home strength training and performance aid, targeting your upper body muscles with controlled resistance has never been easier.
These seven exercises hit every major muscle group in your chest, back, shoulders, and arms. Master these movements and you'll have a complete foundation for upper body strength.
1. Behind The Back Glide
Keep your arms long and smoothly glide your hands straight out to the sides. Feel your chest open up and your rear shoulders engage before controlling it back to the center.

2. Chest Height T-Glide
Hold the ArmGlide at chest height. Extend your hands out, squeeze your shoulders, then slide back to center.
3. Diagonal Cross-Glide
Hold the ArmGlide diagonally. Lock your lower hand in place and pull your upper hand upward, feeling your shoulder stabilize with each rep. Switch sides to engage the opposite shoulder.

4. Forearm Pivot
Hold the ArmGlide vertically. Pivot the top of the bar forward and outward, then return with control. Feel your rotator cuff engage as you build shoulder stability.
5. Overhead Glide
Press the ArmGlide straight up overhead with your hands close together, then smoothly slide your hands outward toward the edges to feel that upper back and shoulder engagement. Control it back to the center and repeat.
6. Sword Pull-Down
Secure the top hand as your anchor and slide the bottom hand straight down toward your hip. Resist the tension on the way back up to fire up the triceps.

7. Wiper Glide
Lock your elbows at 90-degrees with the ArmGlide upright. Keep your anchor arm still as you slide the other arm side-to-side like a windshield wiper. Feel your shoulder stabilize with each rep, then switch sides.
Creating An Effective Exercise Routine
You don't need to do all seven exercises in a single session. A well-rounded upper body routine might rotate through these movements two to three times per week, allowing 48 hours of recovery between sessions targeting the same muscle groups. Focus on proper form and progressively increase reps over time to keep building strength.
